DescriptionEvery great hardware project starts as a messy idea. The 400 Point Solderless Breadboard is the universally accepted standard for bringing those ideas to life. By allowing you to plug in and remove components instantly without the need for solder, it encourages experimentation, speeds up troubleshooting, and ensures your valuable sensors and chips remain completely undamaged during the prototyping phase.Understanding the Internal ConnectionsWhile the top looks like a sea of random holes, the breadboard is highly organized using internal metal spring clips:The Main Workspace (Terminal Strips): The center section is divided by a standard trench (perfect for straddling IC chips). On either side of the trench, the holes are connected in horizontal rows of five. If you plug a wire into hole A1, it is instantly connected to holes B1, C1, D1, and E1.The Power Rails (Bus Strips): The outer edges feature two vertical columns marked with red ( ) and blue (-) lines. These are continuous power rails. Plug your 5V power supply into the top of the red rail, and you can draw power from any other hole along that entire line.Universal CompatibilityThe holes are spaced exactly 2.54mm (0.1 inches) apart. This standard pitch ensures that almost all through-hole components—including Arduino Nano boards, 555 timers, resistors, capacitors, and tactile buttons—will drop in perfectly. The internal spring contacts are optimized for standard 20 to 29 AWG solid-core wire.Modular and ExpandableA single half-size breadboard is perfect for most basic sensor circuits, but what if your project outgrows the space? This board features clever interlocking plastic tabs on its edges. You can seamlessly snap two, three, or ten of these boards together to create a massive prototyping canvas. Once your layout is finalized, simply peel off the protective paper on the back to reveal a strong adhesive pad, allowing you to mount the breadboard permanently inside a project box or onto a robotic chassis.Key Features:100% Reusable: Build a circuit, test it, pull all the wires out, and start a completely new project the next day.Alphanumeric Grid: Clearly printed letters and numbers make it easy to document your circuits and follow online wiring diagrams.Center Isolation Trench: Specifically sized to accommodate standard DIP ICs, ensuring the pins on the left side of the chip don’t short out against the pins on the right.Technical Specifications:Total Tie Points: 400Wire Size Compatibility: 20-29 AWGPitch: 2.54mm (0.1″)Material: ABS plastic housing with nickel-plated phosphor bronze contactsDimensions: Approximately 82mm x 55mm x 8.5mmMounting: Double-sided adhesive tape on the rearIdeal Applications:Rapid prototyping for Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32 projectsEducational lab kits for teaching basic circuit logic and Ohm’s LawTesting newly purchased ICs and sensor modules before final assemblyBuilding temporary testing jigs for electronics repair
