The Macurco Single-Gas Monitor Series is designed to continuously monitor the ambient environment and notify the user if the level of the target gas reaches the alarm set point for the monitor. The device is designed to operate for two years and then be disposed of according to local regulations. Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that is produced by incomplete combustion of carbon-based fuels such as natural gas, propane (LP) gas, kerosene, oil, gasoline, wood, or coal. Sources of carbon monoxide include automobile, truck or forklift exhaust and worn or poorly adjusted boilers or furnaces. Macurco Single-Gas Monitors are uniquely suitable for monitoring specific gases in potentially hazardous atmospheric conditions and are suitable for most industrial applications. They are light, intuitive in design, utilize large glove friendly buttons and are easy to use in the field.
